Working from our corporate headquarters located in Hendersonville, NC, we provide construction services across the Western North Carolina region. Dunlap Construction provides a full range of construction services, from planning and design stages, through construction, punch list, and project closeout. By maintaining a highly skilled staff we are able to use proven management systems and procedures to monitor project progress and ensure owner satisfaction.

General Contracting – Dunlap Construction affords our clients a vast wealth of general contracting knowledge and experience. To accommodate our clients diverse needs, we perform a broad spectrum of general contracting services, offering our insight and ingenuity. Our general contracting expertise allows us to consistently deliver on-time and on-budget projects, resulting in long-term client partnerships.
Schedule Control – Developing a schedule is a necessary start to every project, but adhering to it (throughout every project) is equally important. We take schedule control very seriously and understand how important project schedules are to our clients. Our weekly job meetings ensure every project is on target to be completed as scheduled.
Subcontractor Management – Dunlap Construction takes the time to thoroughly screen our subcontractors. We believe that this minimizes headaches throughout the construction process. All of our subcontractors are licensed and insured. We are on the job everyday, communicating with our subcontractors making sure that they have a clear understanding of their scope of work.
Cost Control/Accounting – Cost control starts immediately upon contract execution and continues until the project closeout. We believe that by putting cost control procedures in place helps to insure that your project costs no more than intended. Cost control procedures help us avoid construction project cost overruns and scheduling lapses by making sure that the progress of our jobs match our time estimates and forecasting of material, labor and overhead expenditures.

Commercial Construction:

We are a full-service general contracting firm that specializes in commercial tenant improvement and commercial build-out. Some examples of our work experience include tenant improvement projects, large office renovations, occupied office remodels, bathroom and breakroom renovations, ADA compliance work and renovations, and retail stores. Municipal Construction:

We take pride in our ability to provide exceptional municipal construction. Construction of courthouses, fire stations, and county and city buildings are just a few of the projects we’ve delivered for municipalities, both big and small. Whether you need a place for your city’s decision makers to meet, or a place for your firefighters to sleep, we can help you construct that building. Some examples of our work experience include: restoration of the Historic Henderson County Courthouse dome , renovations to the 1995 Henderson County Courthouse, the Department of Social Services, additions to police departments, and new construction of EMS stations. Restaurant Construction:

Dunlap Construction also specializes in the construction of hospitality and restaurant facilities. Our team excels in delivering spaces that are built to be beautiful and to last. By designing creative solutions, we are able to offer unique goals that fit our client’s individual needs. By building strong relationships with area hospitals and medical clients, we understand the complexity of working in highly sensitive areas. Because of our knowledge, experience, and expertise, we have continued contracts with local healthcare facilities.
